Great question! It’s important you feel comfortable with your therapist and finding a good fit is important. You can schedule a free 15 minute consultation to get a feel for my style and ask any questions you might have. If I am not a good fit for you, I am happy to help direct you to other possible therapist options.
I work with individuals ages 12 and older.
I specialize in anxiety, panic disorder, insomnia, depression, trauma and trauma-related disorders, personal growth work, values exploration, and perinatal mental health. Please note that I can work with many other presenting concerns not listed here. If I identify an issue outside of my expertise, I am happy to help direct you to a therapist that can help.
People of every age, income level, race and culture can develop Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) during pregnancy and within the first year after delivery. Both parents can experience PMAD’s. I have done extensive training through Postpartum Support International (www.postpartum.net) to support parents through this period.
I am a self-pay provider. I do not work with insurance companies but can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits and your plans allows for this.
There are many benefits to self-pay therapy including:
- greater privacy and confidentiality, as your therapy sessions won't be documented in insurance
- more flexibility for you to choose your own therapist
- less limitations on number of visits, type of visits, etc,
- increased focus on the therapeutic process and ensures that the focus remains on your mental health and well-being
While insurance can be beneficial in some cases, self-pay therapy provides a more tailored, confidential, and flexible approach to mental health care, empowering you to prioritize your mental wellness effectively.
Individual 50 minute session: $175
You can be provided a Good Faith Estimate of charges upon request prior to scheduling.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE:
The No Surprises Act is a federal law which provides you with the right to a good faith estimate of the cost of services at our practice. However, Ohio licensing board rules require healthcare providers to provide you with the actual cost of charges in a written informed consent form to which you must agree prior to us providing services. That will be available to you prior to you being seen for services and prior to any billing.
Yes! While cash or check are preferred, all major credit cards and FSA/HSA cards are accepted.
